REGULATORY AGENCIES

Several agencies have a statutory role in ensuring licensed
premises are operating according to the law. These
agencies include:

• Alcohol Regulatory and Licensing Authority (ARLA)
• District Licensing Committee (DLC)
• Licensing Inspector
• Police
• Medical Officer of Health (MOH)

A Licensing Inspector or representatives from the Police
and MOH are likely to visit your premises to conduct a
compliance check from time to time to ensure you are
meeting the conditions of your licence and the provisions
of the Act.
