Virtual JAG Assembly Unites ABManians in the New Normal

With the theme “We are the Stars. One Verse. Together, We are
Balanced”, senior high school students from the ABM strand held
its first Virtual General Assembly and Acquaintancy last October 30,
2020, along with its objectives to showcase the different Junior
Achievement companies of Grade 12 students and to welcome the new
batch of Grade 11 students.

It began appropriately with the singing of the USJR Hymn, the
Philippine National Anthem and Doxology, followed by the welcome
address of Mrs. Mari Ann A. Fernandez, ABM Academic Chair, and the
presentation of teachers from the ABM Cluster.

Fun-filled activities and presentations such as Trivia Questions,
Raffle Draw, Intermission numbers from various ABM sections, and a
surprise intermission number from ABM Teachers and JAG Officers
engaged the students to actively participate all throughout the
assembly.

Highlights of the program were the announcement of winners
for the TikTok Challenge and the Product Commercial Parade where
Junior Achievement (JA) Companies namely: Kompanito PH, Ecoville,
and Pithaya Inc. garnered the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places for the best
commercial, respectively.

The transition to online classes still made it possible for
ABM students to unite, acquaint, and be one verse through the
gathering.
