             ...no matter how many hours of hard work we put into creating this book, it is useless
             if you don't start with a mindset change. Eating and living healthy starts with your
             mind.  So before you dive into this book, answer these few questions:


             Why do you want to be healthy?
             This could be for yourself, your family, your job, to feel better, etc. Whatever it may be, you
             need to understand YOUR why.


             Do you know why you are eating?
             Do you eat because you are bored? Could you be using food to self soothe? Or are you
             eating because you are truly hungry? These are a few things you need to reflect on.
             Explore your 'why' next time you find yourself mindlessly eating. Many people have
             deep-rooted relationships with food. Understanding this relationship will assist you in

             making any needed changes.


             Do you know when to stop eating?
             Your body is awesome at telling you things if you are willing to listen. The key to this is you
             have to listen, which is really hard to do if you are not paying attention. Watching TV,
             rushing around, or scrolling your social media feed while eating will not help you to listen.
             Your body naturally tells you to stop eating with a sigh. This sigh is sometimes mistaken for
             "making more room" to go for a second helping, but the reality is your body is saying no
             more! Listen to this sigh. Pay attention to this sigh. This sigh is important.
