9. Special Achievements made in Track and Bridge works.

 Progress of Deep Screening of Plain Track with BCM machine for the year 2020-
21 up to Feb-21 is 76 Km.

i. During the shadow block of 64 Hrs at Br No: 74 on SC-DHNE section, the Work of
Deep Screening with BCM machine has been carried out between stations KCG-FM
(DN Line) on SC-DHNE section and a progress of 2.590 Km has been achieved for
three days(16.05.20 = 1.260 Km, 17.05.20 = 0.820 Km and 18.05.20 = .510 Km)

ii. On 27.12.2020, Division has achieved a progress of 2.700 Km of Deep Screening
with BCM machine on a single day (02 Machines), BCM 290 has achieved 1.200 Km
and BCM 394 has achieved 1.500 Km. The progress of 2.700 Km in a single day is
the best ever progress achieved in the Division.

iii. BCM 290 machine, which is working in the Division is a 30 Yrs old machine. The
progress achieved by the machine is about 67 Km in 10 Months, which is the highest
ever progress in the History of working of BCM-290 machine.

iv. During lockdown period, when passenger carrying train traffic was less, the
opportunity of traffic blocks was utilized and long pending work of Deep Screening in
suburban section i.e SC-FM and SC-BMO sections was taken up and completed.

 Rebuilding of Br no: 74 on SC-DHNE section –

The work of Rebuilding of Br No: 74 in UR yard on SC-DHNE section has been taken up
duly taking a mega block of 64 Hrs i.e from 08.00 Hrs of 16.05.20 to 00.00 Hrs of 19.05.20.
(This work is executed by RVNL as a part of Doubling of SC-MBNR section)

Rebuilding of Bridge no. 74 in UR yard.

Note: This work has resulted in saving of Rs 10 Crores to Railways, as it is
executed by RVNL as a part of SC- MBNR doubling work.
