7. Canal Crossing Works: Canal Crossing work between KEK-DAB stations in SC-MUE
section is completed duly inserting the girder on 16.05.2020 and further the girder has been
removed after completing the box casting work under the track on 29.07.2020.

8. Increase in Sectional Speeds and New lines.

a. Sectional Speeds

 FM-DHNE Section – CRS sanction received for Raising of sectional speed from 100
to 110 Kmph on 02.12.2020 and same has been implemented.

 SHNR –GLY (New Double Line) – Double line commissioned in the month of
Sept‟20 with MPS 75 Kmph and PCE approval received for increasing speed from 75
to 100 Kmph on 03.02.2021, same will be implemented by 31.03.2021.

b. New Lines

 Jaklair – Makthal - new line (11 Km) – Commissioned in the month of June‟20, to be
taken over by open line from construction.

 Manoharabad – Gajwel - new line (33 Km) – Commissioned in the month of
June‟20, to be taken over by open line from construction.

 Shadnagar – Gollapalli – Double line (DN Line) (30 Km) – Commissioned in the
month of Sept‟20, taken over by open line.

9. Special Achievements made in Track and Bridge works.

 Progress of Deep Screening of Plain Track with BCM machine for the year 2020-
21 up to Feb-21 is 76 Km.

i. During the shadow block of 64 Hrs at Br No: 74 on SC-DHNE section, the Work of
Deep Screening with BCM machine has been carried out between stations KCG-FM
(DN Line) on SC-DHNE section and a progress of 2.590 Km has been achieved for
three days(16.05.20 = 1.260 Km, 17.05.20 = 0.820 Km and 18.05.20 = .510 Km)

ii. On 27.12.2020, Division has achieved a progress of 2.700 Km of Deep Screening
with BCM machine on a single day (02 Machines), BCM 290 has achieved 1.200 Km
and BCM 394 has achieved 1.500 Km. The progress of 2.700 Km in a single day is
the best ever progress achieved in the Division.
