3 Slips Trips and Apply the trailer parking brake by pulling the red knob out (towards you) you may now

Note. It is extremely important that the trailer brake is pulled on at this point

4 Slips Trips and Wind down the trailer landing legs to the ground ensuring that both legs have come down
Falls together and then stow the handle away correctly

Note. Holding the winding handle in a horizontal position and pulling or pushing the
handle towards the trailer body will allow the working mechanism to operate in a normal
or slow operation mode.

Remove the trailer registration plate

5 Slips Trips and Remove the 5th wheel safety clip and pull and secure the 5th wheel release handle
Falls
Enter the vehicle again with 3 points of contact

Drive forward a very short distance and STOP with the fifth wheel still under the trailer.

Note. Apply the vehicle handbrake, turn off the engine, use 3 points on contact to climb
out of the cab, close the door and ensure you are wearing the correct PPE
