Check the height of the 5th wheel in relation to the trailer height and adjust its height if
necessary. Lower the 5th wheel below the trailer. Check for enough grease on the 5th
wheel check the 5th wheel locking handle is pulled out and the safety clip is easily
accessible

9 Slips Trips and Reverse under the trailer and stop short of the trailer pin.
Falls

Note. Apply the vehicle handbrake, turn off the engine, off and use 3 points on contact to climb out of the cab, close the door and
ensure you are wearing the correct PPE

Open the side wind deflector by pulling it forward and sliding it to the left.
Using the steps provided with 3 points of contact climb up to the catwalk.

Note: Do not stand on the fuel tank
