UNCOUPLING OF TRAILERS (Normal)
Slips Trips and Park the vehicle and trailer on legal and level ground then level the suspension
16 Falls Note:
Apply the vehicle handbrake, turn off the engine, use 3 points on contact to climb out of
the cab, close the door ad ensure you are wearing the correct PPE
17 Slips Trips and Apply the trailer parking brake by pulling the red knob out (towards you) you may now

Note. It is extremely important that the trailer brake is checked and in an on (pulled) position at this point
18 Slips Trips and Wind down the trailer landing legs to the ground ensuring that both legs have come
Falls down together and then stow the handle away correctly
Note. Holding the winding handle in a horizontal position and pulling or pushing the
handle towards the trailer body will allow the working mechanism to operate in a normal
or slow operation mode.
19 Slips Trips and Remove the trailer registration plate. Disconnect electrical connections, both airlines, the
Falls trailer camera and both hydraulic connections (if used)
Note.
When disconnecting the connections ensure you disconnect them at the nearest lead first
working your way across the catwalk. See the suggested disconnection order on the right
from 1 to 10. (See serial 6)
