10 Slips Trips and Connect the electrical connections, both airlines, the trailer camera and both
Falls hydraulic connections (See note 1 as the end of this SSoW) 3 5 6 8

Note. When connecting the connections ensure you connect them via the furthest
lead away working your way across the catwalk towards the steps as this will
prevent you from stepping over leads. See the connection order above

Drivers are to be Careful of their footing and ensure they do not have slippery
surfaces to walk on

11 Slips Trips and Lift the trailer with the air suspension so that the legs just clear the ground
Falls and reverse back onto the trailer pin until you hear an audible lock.
Now drive (2 x TUGS) forward twice to ensure you have connected
correctly.

Now look under the trailer into the jaws of the 5th wheel to ensure the
safety bar is across the trailer pin safely.
Note. Apply the vehicle handbrake, turn off the engine off, and use 3 points

on contact to climb out of the cab, close the door and ensure you are
wearing the correct PPE
