to develop regional campaign materials that include messages and images relevant to consumers
in those areas.

Business Development Team Update. PERC launched a Propane Forklift Cost Calculator in
September. This calculator allows propane marketers, fleets, and facilities managers to compare
total cost of ownership for Class 4 & 5 propane-powered forklifts to Class 1 electric forklifts. We
awarded the City of Knoxville, Tenn., with the 2019 Green Leadership City Award. Knoxville has
been using propane in its municipal mowing fleet for nearly a decade and has recently begun
expanding the use of propane across a number of city-owned fleet vehicles. We recently
completed and released the Grain Dryer Demand Model. This information is housed on
propane.com and can be found under National and State Profiles. This model tracks and predicts
the moisture of the corn crop across the Midwest and compares the data to a 19-year data set. It
is broken into national and state heat maps and charts that cut the data to the USDA crop district
level. The model is working well and is giving our large Midwest marketers a predictive look at
grain drying demand. In addition, staff attended 17 market events, met with over 25 partner
companies, and also visited Oak Ridge National Lab and the U.S. Department of Energy.
