Cancellation

Cancelation can be defined as a situation where the guest is
cancelling a reservation. Cancellation means to stop some events,
decisions, or activity. Cancellation of the reservation is caused by
the change of the guest’s plan. It can be handled easily by a
computerized reservation system.

The procedures of cancellation quite similar to the amending the
reservation. There are some procedures that should be followed in
cancelling a reservation. Those procedures will be explained as
follows:

1. Checking the reservation in the booking list.

The first stage of cancelling a reservation is checking
the information about the reservation in the booking
list. By checking the reservation, the receptionist will
be easier to input the data of cancellation in the
system.
