Length of Stay

Type of hotel based on the length of the stay of the guest is
classified into three, they are: 1) Commercial hotel is the
hotel in which the hotel guests only stay for a night or two nights;
2) Transient hotel refers to an establishment where guest stays are
generally considered short term (less than 30 days); 3)
Residential hotel is the hotel in which the hotel guests stay for a
long period of time. Some large companies may even hire out a
residential hotel unit for years at a time so that they can provide
various employees with accommodation for business travel,
pleasure, training and so on.; and 3) Semi residential hotel is the
hotel in which the hotel guest stay for more than two nights until
a week. Guests can book semi residential hotel rooms for months
or even years at a time but the amount will still be broken down
on a daily basis.
