Hotel Types

For generations, hotels have played an important part in the
hospitality business, catering to the needs of travelers and tourists
all over the world. The hospitality sector has developed over
time, giving rise to a plethora of hotel kinds that appeal to a wide
range of interests and purposes. There are numerous hotel
classifications that can be used as a framework to help guests
understand if the hotel is good for them depending on their price,
what they are seeking for, size, and location. Classification also
helps hotels design a better brand strategy because by defining
the offer, the hotel management will better appeal to a certain
target audience. With this in mind, let's take a look at the different
ways hotels are classified, including, but not limited to: target,
size, star rating, and ownership, i.e. whether it’s a chain or
independently owned hotel.
