              Social Media Policy

              Owner: Corporate Communications

              Policy Statement

Employees are not permitted to create social media sites on behalf of Kontoor Brands, Inc., or to
speak on behalf of Kontoor Brands or any of our brands using social media without approval from
either Brand leadership (for brands) or Kontoor Brands Corporate Communications.

              Social Media Overview

Social media is an effective communication medium for sharing information about Kontoor Brands
and our brands with external audiences, as well as engaging with consumers and other key
stakeholders. Social media also provides a platform for employees to use for various personal
reasons. When using social media, whether for business or personal use, Kontoor Brands and
brand employees must take care to protect the reputation of the company and our brands,
protect the confidentiality of all proprietary information, and ensure compliance with all
              applicable laws and regulations.

For the purposes of this policy, social media includes, but is not limited to, websites, blogs,
podcasts, wikis, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat, WeChat and Weibo.

In today's digital world, it is likely that a quick online search would reveal an employee’s affiliation
with Kontoor Brands, Inc. This leads to blurred lines in online social networks between what is
public and private, and personal and professional. As such, this policy provides a set of guidelines
and practical advice when operating on the internet or in the public sphere as an identifiable
Kontoor Brands or brand employee. This policy should be followed in conjunction with all existing
company policies, including Kontoor Brands’ Code of Business Conduct, Global Information
Security Policy and the company's Disclosure of Material Non‐public Information Policy.

              Guidelines for Using Social Media

 Identify your personal views. Very few people are official spokespersons for Kontoor
Brands or its brands. Unless you are one of them, you must make clear you are speaking for
yourself and not the company or one of Kontoor Brands’ brands. If you convey a personal
viewpoint online or in social media that is not an official public statement on behalf of your
brand or Kontoor Brands, please make it clear that your opinions are your own and not
those of your brand or Kontoor Brands. For example, add a visible or audible disclaimer to
your social media bios, websites, and podcasts as follows: The views expressed on this site
are my own and do not necessarily reflect the views of my employer.
