CTE Paired Courses FAQs
What is a paired course?
Paired Courses are two courses that students take at the same time in one class period. They are
deliberately paired based on a high level of intersecting content, skills, and objectives.
How many credits do I earn?
You will be scheduled for 2 courses, therefore you can potentially earn 2 CTE course credits. Assignments
require a high level of connection and understanding between the two courses; therefore students will earn
grades for both.
*The only exception to earning two credits is if you have already taken one of the two courses in a paired
offering.
