New Year, New You
Yes, it’s already February, but just because January flew by
doesn’t mean you can’t start something new in February.
Have you ever wanted to disrupt the calm of your household
by learning a new instrument? Borrow one from us before
you make the financial commitment. Maybe you binge
watched organizational videos and feel the need to label
everything in your house. We have a label maker that you
can borrow. Or is this the year you finally learn how to speak
Spanish? We have Rosetta Stone and Transparent Languages
available for free right through our website.
Speaking of our virtual library, have you looked at our
offerings lately? We have music streaming services, movies
and tv, and financial services-all for free. We’ve recently
added NYTimes Cooking and Games. Now you can access
the NYTimes crossword puzzle and full cooking website
without encountering the paywall. Just another way that your local library offers equitable
access to information!
Maybe your new year, new you mantra includes getting out of the house. We have a lot
of events on the calendar to meet your socialization needs. Seed and plant swaps are
scheduled so we can start thinking spring. If you’re feeling crafty, come to our knitting and
crochet groups or our Saturday Crafternoons. We’re taking part in the Plymouth Bay Cultural
District’s Yarn Pop again this year! Take a look at their Facebook page for more details! And
as always, we have all sorts of clubs and groups that meet on a regular basis.
So even though we’re midway through February, it’s never too late to start those goals
you’ve had on the back burner. Plymouth Library is always there to help you in whatever way
you need.
