ABSTRACT


                    Application  of  Development  Model  CLKKM  (Example,  Practice,  Control,  Self-
                    Employment) Teachers for Improving Teacher Competence in the preparation
                    of lesson plans and Learning Quality at SMAN 17 Pandeglang in 2011. By Edi

                    Educational Action Research is motivated by the lack of skills teachers in the
                    Learning lesson Plan and the quality of learning at SMAN 17 Pandeglang. Most
                    ( 81.25%) teachers to teach at SMAN 17 Pandeglang without lesson plan. The
                    problem  of  this  research  are:  (1)  What  is  the  procedure  CLKKM  effective
                    implementation  of  the  model  to  improve  the  competence  of  teachers  in
                    preparing  lesson  plans? (2)  Is  the  application  of  the  model  CLKKM  coaching
                    can  enhance  teachers'  competency  in  developing  the  syllabus  and  lesson
                    plans? (3) Is the application of the model guidance can improve the quality of
                    learning  CLKKM  in  SMAN  17  Pandeglang? This  action  research  aims  to
                    determine:  (1)  an  effective  procedure  in  the  application  of  coaching  models
                    CLKKM in SMAN 17 Pandeglang, (2) improving the competence of teachers in
                    preparing lesson plans through the application of the model guidance CLKKM,
                    (3)  improving  the  quality  of  learning  in  SMAN  17  Pandeglang. School  action
                    research  was  conducted  in  SMAN  17  Pandeglang  in  January  to 2011dengan
                    March 16 study subjects teachers are divided into three cycles. From the school
                    of action research is concluded: (1) an effective procedure in the application of
                    the  model  CLKKM  coaching  is  to  provide  a  direct  example,  training,  and
                    evaluating  lesson  plans  independently. (2)  The  application  of  the  model
                    guidance  has  increased  the  competence  of  teachers  CLKKM  SMAN  17
                    Pandeglang  in  preparing  the  syllabus  and  lesson  plans,  (3)  Model  CLKKM
                    coaching  can  improve  the  quality  of  learning  in  SMAN  17  Pandeglang. The
                    analysis  showed  that  the  application  of  coaching  models  provide  additional
                    knowledge CLKKM many teachers in developing the syllabus and lesson plans,
                    while  improving  the  skills  of  teachers  in  preparing  lesson  plans  and
                    implementation banayak learning gained through guidance and practice in the
                    classroom. This means that, models that do CLKKM coaching principals have a
                    sufficiently  high  effectiveness  to  increase  the  competence  of  teachers  in
                    preparing  lesson  plans  and  the  quality  of  learning  in  SMAN  17  Pandeglang.
