Musical Sundays in The Prom.
The plan was for Cobh Bandstand to come alive with free entertainment every
single Sunday from May to September.
The plan would have worked if the Irish weather didn’t resume normal service after
the heatwave in 2018. That said there was still a great line up of entertainment
provided courtesy of Summer Swing, Cobh Tourism and other festivals and events.
Cobh Tourism provided music on 10 Sundays, which was funded by Cork County
Council. May the sun shine in 2020 for the many signature events and for all Sun-
days!
Our Photos
The Cobh Tourism Facebook Page has 7000 likes, but our fantastic photographs and
timely posts about events in Cobh are seen by many thousands of people across
the world.
Our promotional video has been seen by 72,000 people. 30,000 people were
reached for our 11th April 2019 Titanic post link to our website. Our Christmas
Day video of the Cuskinny swim reached 26,000 people. Our post about the Bar-
rack Hill Ball Roll reached 12900 people. 12100 for our St Patrick’s Day greeting.
11500 for A Beautiful summer’s morning post on 19th June. 11,100 for our video of
the Cathedral bells on 5th May. 10600 for our Welcome to Costa del Cobh post on
14th July.
