Example #3, continued:
the Course Manager Manual describes the activity and
offers hints in handling typical omissions; (2) A checklist
of items to look for is included in the self-evaluation
material.
Do you have self-evaluation material written for your
skill check? Is it self-explanatory, or would a course man-
ager benefit from some directions or comments from
you about how to proceed?
Your Turn
If you have followed the instructions on the previous pages,
you should be ready for the Skill. It will ask you to prepare the
items that will be needed before the module can be imple-
mented by someone other than yourself. You will be expected
to hand your module and the instructions to a colleague, who
will in turn be expected to administer the module successfully
to another workshop participant . . . without help from you. Use
the Module Implementation Checklist as a guide.
Module Implementation Checklist
1. If materials are used in the module, is there a materials
list for the course manager?
2. Are there instructions on how materials should be set
out or prepared for use?
3. If equipment is involved, are there instructions about
how to locate and set up the equipment?
4. If troubleshooting practice is involved, are there instruc-
tions on exactly what practice troubles to use and in
what order? Are there instructions on how to set up the
practice session?
