3. Self-Revision Portfolio
Description: Over the course of the semester, students
compile a portfolio that includes an original essay draft,
multiple revisions, and the final polished version. They
must write a reflection on each revision phase, explaining
what they changed and why. This helps students track
their progress and see how their writing improves through
revision and editing.
Objective: To encourage a deeper understanding of the
revision process and the value of multiple drafts.
Assessment: Graded based on the depth of revisions made
and the quality of reflective analysis on how the essay
evolved.
