4. Collaborative Essay Revision
Description: Students work in small groups to
collaboratively revise and edit an essay. Each student is
assigned a different aspect to focus on (e.g., thesis clarity,
paragraph structure, grammar, transitions). They must
come together to create a unified, improved version of the
essay and present it to the class, explaining the changes
they made.
Objective: To encourage teamwork in revising and editing
while allowing students to focus on different aspects of
the process.
Assessment: Graded based on how effectively the group
improves the essay’s content, organization, and language,
as well as their collaboration.
