2. Editing Challenge
Description: Students are given a poorly written essay with
numerous grammatical errors, unclear sentences, and

structural issues. Their task is to revise and edit the essay
to make it clear, coherent, and grammatically correct. They
must submit both the original version and the revised
version with an explanation of the changes they made.
Objective: To practice both revision and editing by
identifying and correcting issues in an essay.
Assessment: Graded on how well students improve the
clarity, structure, and accuracy of the essay while
explaining their revision process.
