5. Editing Masterclass
Description: Students create a video or written tutorial on
common editing mistakes (e.g., comma splices, subject-
verb agreement, sentence fragments) and how to fix them.
This project requires them to research editing strategies
and present them in a clear, instructional format for their
classmates.
Objective: To deepen students’ understanding of editing by
teaching others how to spot and correct errors.
Assessment: Graded based on the clarity and accuracy of
the tutorial, as well as the student’s ability to explain
editing techniques.
