organisms or habitats. His willingness to explore diverse materials and forms testifies to his unrelenting
              creative drive.

In recent series, Lee works on ceramic slabs—an unusual base for a ceramist. Rather than emphasizing three-
dimensional volume, he flattens the ground and builds upon it with collaged images from newspapers and
magazines, juxtaposed with three-dimensional objects. These collaged forms function as semantic layers,
constructing a personal visual narrative. The interplay of collage, ceramics, and sculptural objects gestures
toward an expanding vocabulary—one where literary and conceptual elements may generate entirely new
              techniques and methods.

What directions will this lead to in the future? That is a compelling question. As Professor Lee continues to
ask himself fundamental questions about vision and form, his practice enters a new phase. While many of his
contemporaries conclude their careers with retrospective works, he embarks on a new journey—opening vast
new horizons as a ceramist of the future.
