On behalf of OIS ART OF CANADA, I’d like to say that I’m honoured to host <2022 the Day of Koreans
Art Exhibition-“The Soul of East and West”.> with great artists from Korea and Canada to remember and
celebrate Korean Heritage Month in Canada.

OIS ART OF CANADA was founded in 2018 to promote and exchange art and culture between Korea
and multi -cultural communities in Canada by hosting and sponsoring various seminars, workshops,
and exhibitions. The organization’s goal is to foster an international creative art exchange, deepen
understanding across cultures, and create strong ties between these two great countries.

I believe that the exhibition will provide an opportunity for Canadians, Koreans and their posterity to
re-recognize Koreans’ immigration history and its meaning in Canada. Furthermore, it should improve
Koreans’ self-confidence about their own culture. It will also promote the diverse creativity and historical
significance of Korean and Canadian arts and culture within both societies.

In addition, I’d like to give a special thanks to participating artists from Seoul National University in Korea,
and artists from diverse communities in Eastern Canada, sponsors, and directors and volunteers from OIS
ART OF CANADA for their tremendous cooperation who made this possible for us.

I hope you enjoy this journey into the magnificent exhibition.
