Message from the Mayor
It gives me great pleasure to extend greetings and a warm welcome to everyone
attending the 2022 Day of Koreans Art Exhibition, "The Soul of the East and the
West", hosted by the OIS Art of Canada.
Best wishes to everyone attending this exhibition that showcases Asian paintings, sculptures, and
traditional crafts from five Korean artists, professors from Seoul National University in Korea, and five
remarkable Canadian artists from diverse communities. The Korean community in Toronto greatly
contributes to the rich cultural diversity of our city. I am pleased to see events like yours taking place in
Toronto.
Community events promote and encourage residents to connect with each other while taking part in
activities that contribute to community-building.
