PART V. STUDENT SUPPORT AND SERVICES

        A.  Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)

            The school treats/regards the students’ well-being with prime importance. While
            academics  provide  intellectual  nourishment,  the  Guidance  Department  plays  a
            unique role of assisting the students in school and whenever possible, in matters
            pertaining  to  their  growth  and  development  as  a  person.  This  department,
            likewise,  plays  the  unique  role  of  coordinating  activities  towards  the  total
            development of the student through individual and group activities.

        COUNSELING AND PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES AND PROGRAMS

        1.   Testing

            Assessment  tools  are  administered  to  students  to  make  them  aware  of  their
            abilities, achievement levels, interests, inclinations, and personality orientations.

        2.   Individual Counseling
            One-on-one counseling is given to students to ensure support for their academic
            and personal growth.

        3.   Group Counseling and Special Programs

            a.  Students  with  similar  concerns  establish  a  support  group  wherein  they  can
            learn  from  each  other  and  tackle  their  own  concerns.  The  following  are  the
            special programs:

               a.1     EQ (Emotional Quotient)

               a.2     DQ (Diligence Quotient)

        4.   Values Development Programs

            a.  HR/LIFE (Life Functional Effective Skills)/ GMP (Good Manners Program)
            are a series of structured learning exercises following the themes on the Value of
            the Week.
