How are students expected to use
the Google Meet chat room?
Students are expected to be mindful of their use of
the Google Meet chat room since classes are
recorded. They may use the chat room to ask
permission from the teacher to go to the restroom or
restart their device. They may also use the chat room
to enrich the class sharing or responding to their
classmates’ insights or discussion answers.

In which situation is Google

Hangouts utilized?

Google Hangouts can be utilized for urgent concerns
and cascading of announcements. The class Hangout

is a platform for class adviser and subject teachers to
give reminders, announce activities and important
dates, and page students who are absent in class.

Students may also use Hangouts private message to
ask their teachers questions and consult regarding

their class performance. However, students need to
be reminded by their class adviser and their LF to be
conscious of the time they message their teachers.

Teachers’ reporting time is 8am-5pm.
