ALTERNATIVES – The term alternatives refers to
children having access to experiences they would not
normally have at home, or in their home locality.
Examples of this in today’s society might involve
opportunities to play outdoors, going in to the woods,
playing in the rain, the dirt, or with water. Going to the
beach, building a fire, or climbing trees.
