CHANGE – Ensuring that children have the
opportunity to take control over their play space and

make changes how they see fit is essential in order for

the child to take ownership of the play space. It helps

create an environment where the child is an active
agent in their own world, this helps to build confidence

and a feeling of belonging. Giving children the

permission and space to change the play space can
also promote creativity, self-expression and mastery

of skills.
