RISK – We feel that ALL play should have an element

of risk and challenge, whether that be emotional or
physical. Because if it did not then it would quickly

become boring and mundane for the children and

therefore cause the children to disengage from the

play. We are not saying that all play should be
dangerous, but risk is extremely personal and

individual, what is risky and challenging for one child

may not be risky and challenging for another.
