GENERAL

This handbook is intended to communicate the policies, practices and procedures that have been
established for employees of Prodair Air Products India Private Limited (Air Products India), a 100%
subsidiary of Air Products and Chemicals Inc., USA, having registered an office in Pune, Maharashtra.

In India, we have presence in 3 major cities: Pune, Vadodara and Kochi.

It is the Company’s intention that by publishing clear statements of our policies and practices in
relation to each person‘s contract of employment, we can ensure that our principal assets, PEOPLE,
are deployed to the maximum mutual benefits.

This handbook is not intended to provide every detail of policies and procedures to cover every
conceivable situation. It is intended as a general reference tool for employees and their managers and
to promote India-specific policies and requirements.

To avoid any inconsistencies, the Human Resource (HR) Department should be consulted before
managers make a decision that deviates from these guidelines. As the needs of the Company and
employees change, these policies and procedures will be reviewed from time to time and modified
appropriately. The Company reserves the rights to amend the policies and procedures as it deems fit,
and changes will be communicated to the employees within reasonable time.
