Eligibility and Enrollment





        When Are You Eligible?


        You are eligible to participate in the Schottenstein Stores Corporation (SSC) benefits programs if you are a
        Team Member who is regularly scheduled to work 28 or more hours per week and you work for SSC or a
        participating affiliated company. Team members regularly working 28-35 hours are classified as Part-Time with
        Benefits status.  If you work less than 28 hours per week, you are not eligible for benefits.

        Other than the 401(k) Plan and Paid Time Off (PTO), your elected benefits are effective the first of the month
        following 30 days of service. After a benefits eligible status change your elected benefits are effective the first
        day of the next month following the change.


        You must make and submit your benefit elections within 30 days from your date of hire.


        How Do I Enroll for Benefits?



        What You Need to Do For Enrollment

        1.   Enroll online at benefits.vcf.com. Enter your HRIS user name and password.

        2.  Select My Benefits and then choose Enrollment.
        3.  Select Start New Employee Enrollment or Annual Enrollment.
        4.   Read through the instructions and click Continue to begin making your elections and adding your
           dependents. You must waive all benefits that you don’t want to enroll in.
        5.   Review your elections on the Confirm & Submit section. If they’re correct select the Submit button.
        6.  Enter your password and click Accept. The progress bar should read 100% complete.
