» A court order requiring coverage for dependent child(ren)
You have 31 days from the qualified life event to make changes to your coverage. Depending on
the type of event, you may need to provide proof, such as a marriage license. If you don’t make
the changes within 31 days of the qualified event, you’ll have to wait until the next open enrollment
period to make them (unless you experience another qualified life event).
How to Enroll
New Hires & Open Enrollment
Log on to Workday Access your “Inbox” and select the
“Benefit Elections” task
Review and choose your benefit Click “Submit” to finalize
options; then select “I agree”
Mid-year Qualifying Event
» Log onto Workday » Indicate your change reason, upload
supporting documentation and benefit
» Access the benefits application
event date and click “Submit”
» Under the change column, select “Benefits”
» Find your benefit change in your workday
inbox and make your desired changes
