THE PLANS
Okay, let’s get right into it. Health coverage is so important to you and your family, so you should
consider your options carefully before making your choice. Do not delay, though: having no health
insurance, or a gap in your insurance, can cause expenses that can be devastating.
To ensure your best health, we offer a choice between several medical plans through Kaiser and
Aetna, and all of them include prescription drug coverage. To decide what’s best for you and
your family, consider the key differences between the plans, cost of coverage (including payroll
deductions) and how the plan covers services throughout the year.
TL;DR: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR HEALTH CARE
You will always pay less if you use an in-network provider and pharmacy.
In-network preventive care is covered at 100% (no cost to you). Preventive care is
often received during an annual physical exam and includes immunizations, lab tests,
screenings and other services intended to prevent illness or detect problems before
you notice any symptoms.
Virtual care, prescription coverage and emergency care are included on all plans.
If you have coverage elsewhere, you may waive your OpenX coverage and receive a
premium payment of up to $500 per year.
