Viewing Measurement Data
Summary Number Definition
Remaining Difference Displacement This is the peak-to-peak displacement
recorded at all other frequencies once
the 1x and 2f Displacement data are
removed from the spectrum.
Note:
The 1x Displacement Phase and 2f Displacement Phase summary
numbers will not be consistent between measurements unless a Shaft
Trigger is used to synchronize data collection.
Note that data collected from the Original GuardII and EVTracII monitors use a different
set of Summary Numbers; when EVView is opened, new Summary Numbers are calculated
from the old raw data.
Some measurements include both summary and raw data, and some include only
summary data.
9.1.2. EVView Overview
The EVView interface is split into 3 main sections:
• The ribbon is used to switch between different data views such as the Summary view
or the Measurement view. It also contains controls and/or information relevant to
the currently selected view.
• The workspace displays the currently selected data view.
• The measurement list displays the measurements saved in the database. Note that
some data views require specific types of measurements. For example, the
Measurement View allows you to view the raw data and frequency spectra of a
measurement; this requires full measurements and cannot be done with summary
measurements. The measurement list will be filtered to remove any measurements
that cannot be used in the selected view; see the descriptions of each view for
details.
