GuardII+ EV Card Operation

NOTE:
Triggers are designed to detect data trends, not single events. For
example, a sudden large vibration that occurs once will not cause data to
be saved. For example, when the monitor detects an increasing vibration
trend, this could cause data to be saved due to a Level-Based Trigger.
4.6.4. Periodic Triggers
Each day, the GuardII+ saves one measurement for each operating point that occurs
during that day. The measurement saved is the measurement that recorded the largest
Overall Displacement at that operating point.
Most measurements saved due to Periodic Triggers only contain summary data. Every
30 days, the monitor’s Periodic measurements contain raw data as well. This 30-day interval
is tracked individually for each operating point.
For example:
• A machine starts running early on Monday and has 4 operating point changes
throughout the day as it starts up. Once the machine reaches the FLH operating point,
it remains there for the entire next day. The GuardII+ attached to the machine is
started up for the first time on Monday.

• The detected operating points will be:
o Unknown when the machine is off, and as it spins up.
o Synchronized as it reaches full-speed at 7:00 am on Monday.
