2. Hardware

A GuardII+ Flux card supports inputs for one flux probe and one shaft trigger (keyphasor);
the card is installed into a GuardII+ Platform monitor. The shaft trigger input has a built-in
auxiliary power supply for the shaft trigger. The Flux card may also include connections for
other monitoring technologies (refer to Section 8.1 for all Flux card variations); regardless of
which other monitoring technologies are installed, the Flux interfaces remain the same.

2.1. Layout

While there may be connectors for other monitoring technologies present, the Flux-related
connectors are always at the same location.
