What the spiritual fallout from these fallen religious
idols reveals to us is, somewhere along the way, we
allowed our focus, attention and trust to transfer from
our Savior over to our leaders. The Bible clearly teaches
that we should look to Jesus, not man.
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our
faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured
the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the
right hand of the throne of God.”
