and perhaps hundreds of their congregates to the
coronavirus, within just a few short weeks.
Although the stakes are high, many leaders are still
willing to risk the lives of non-family members. Mainly,
because their concern for preserving the revenue to
continue fueling their family businesses, is greater
than their concern for the safety of the members of
their churches.
Three (3) Bible Points Concerning Quarantines—
Now, I realize that there have been men and women
of God who sincerely believe in their hearts that to carry
on their assembled worship services, is what God wants.
But, they are sincerely wrong. We know this because the
Bible speaks of quarantines.
This isn’t biblical leadership— Real people are dying.
Church people are dying. Church leaders are dying! “What
are you thinking???” God gives us concise instructions on
how to deal with calamities and pandemics.
I don’t even understand the churches that had
skeleton crews to assemble at the church, to present
praise worship, while the parishioners view from
the safety of their homes. Now you’re putting your
skeleton crew at risk!
1. Go Into Your Home And Close The Door—
These religious leaders had even tried to dictate
the movement and actions of the coronavirus. They’ve
been telling their members to disregard the official
shelter-at-home order, and to trust God to protect
them. And, I get that, but the Bible tells us that we
have a role or duty concerning God’s protection
