                                                                 electricity charges.
                                                             •  Static  control  mats  and  chair  mats

                                                                 might make you trip, especially if the
                                                                 edges start to curl. When worn mats

                                                                 start to pose a risk, replace them.



                   WORK AREA SAFETY

               1. Items in your immediate workspace can improve both your comfort level and output.

                   They might also start causing harm.

                                                              •  Furniture with jagged or sharp edges
                                                                  needs to be taped or sanded down

                                                                  to protect workers' bodies and stop

                                                                  clothes from tearing.
                                                              •  Notify  the  right  person  about  any

                                                                  potential  risks  related  to  office
                                                                  furnishings,  such  as  broken  knobs

                                                                  on equipment, burned-out lights, and
                                                                  tears in the carpeting.

                                                              •  File  drawers  should  be  stocked

                                                                  starting  at  the  bottom  and  working
                                                                  your way up to the top.

                                                              •  The  top  drawer  should  be  used  to

                                                                  empty them.
                                                              •  Take out one file cabinet drawer at a

                                                                  time  when  working  with  them.  The
