quacked at me. I laughed because it was funny. Soon it was time to
go home. I was tired but very happy. I had the best day at the park
with my family and friends!
2. Factual Recount
In August 2017, many people in the USA got to see a special
event in the sky - a total solar eclipse. The eclipse moved across the
country, blocking out the sun completely in some areas. As the
eclipse started, it got a little cooler outside. Then, for a short time, it
looked like night even though it was still daytime. The sun
disappeared behind the moon, and a faint glow called the corona
could be seen around the moon's edge. This amazing sight only
lasted a few minutes, but it left everyone who saw it feeling
impressed and surprised. The eclipse also helped scientists learn
more about the sun.
