Vectoring SPA

ATCOs using the vectoring technique to optimize the arriving

sequence shall comply with “High side” “Middle Side” and “Low
Side” altitude to maintain vertical separation until aircraft are

established on the localizer course or final approach track (GNSS)
                         within the NOZ area.

Each “Side” is designed taking into account that a 1000ft vertical

separation is guaranteed from every STAR of the adjacent RWYs.

When an aircraft is being vectored to intercept the ILS localizer, the

final vector shall enable the aircraft to intercept ILS localizer at an
angle no greater than 30 degrees and to provide at least 1 NM straight
and a level flight before the ILS localizer course.

The vector shall also enable the aircraft to be established on the ILS
localizer course in level flight for at least 2 NM before intercepting

                         the ILS glide path.
