The surveillance separation minima applicable within the Kuala Lumpur
                    CTR/TMA is 3NM provided the radar tracks are not more than 40 NM from

                    any serviceable radar head and operating on both PSR and SSR.




                    If the above conditions cannot be satisfied, radar separation minima applicable

                    shall be 5NM.




                    During DEPENDENT parallel approaches, radar separation applicable
                    between aircraft established on different localizers can be reduced to a

                    minimum of 2NM staggered if the approach control unit has the capability to
                    override transmissions of the aerodrome control unit.




                    During INDEPENDENT parallel approaches, a minimum of 1000ft Vertical

                    Separation or a minimum of 3NM Radar Separation shall be provided between
                    aircraft inbound different runway until BOTH are established:

                         a. Inbound the corresponding ILS Localizer Course or final approach track

                             (GNSS);

                         b. Within the Normal Operating Zone (NOZ).
