their relationship. They can mediate together and
work well within narrative mediation principles.
Finally, their parenting plans often do not require
great detail as the parents demonstrate flexibility
                    and collaboration.

These cases are likely Child Centred Continuum
Model Level 3 or Level 4 cases.

Note that these cases can still involve outbursts of
mutual strong emotion, positionality, and difficult
negotiations. However, the parents demonstrate a
willingness to engage with the narratives of the
other parent, and to try to achieve an outcome that
is agreeable to the whole family. Generally, these
parents are willing to abide by ground rules.

The voices of children often raise unexpected
questions for parents. Facilitation of a parent child
meeting can be very effective for Green cases.

                   YELLOW CASES
Yellow risk cases present some risk due to a history
that has involved indicators of case complexity (family
violence, drug and alcohol, mental health, suicidality,
child abuse investigations). The risk assessment
undertaken by the practitioner suggests that the
issues are sufficiently historic in both the mind of the
parents and in the professional judgement of the
practitioner, so that involvement in the family law
systems and processes is not worsening the risk.
Continuous screening and risk assessment processes
confirm that the risk is not increasing.
