                   Meeting with parents
                   Any discussion with parents needs to start from a position that the parents are the
                   experts on their child.  The expertise in giving feedback to parents is captured in
                   helping parents to identify what they already see, and in building from the known
                   to the new and surprising.
                   Feedback to parents can be brought from two lenses:
                         The first is the content that the child themselves provided.  This is the feedback
                          that the child agreed was not private and includes any play based content that
                          the child agreed should be shown to parents
                         The second can come from the lens of the child consultant’s knowledge and
                          experience of working with children generally and particularly from  an
                          understanding of child development, attachment and the impact of changes in
                          the family system on children.  In a sense, it is feedback with respect to the
