THE GARDEN HOUSE
The head gardener cottage is a
substantial one storied rendered,
stone building. It is a double pile
construction and the main facade is
formed by twin gables ornamented
with decorative barge boards with
finials. It has canted bow windows. Its
appearance in the Lawrence
photograph is very charming. The front
facade is adorned by climbers
probably roses, 2 summer seats are in

overlooking a little garden, and a white
painted wooden or iron fence is
attached to the west side.
Internally the cottage is much larger
than it appears from the exterior. The The Head Gardener’s House
