Day 6 - What If/That’s When
Scripture:
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the
Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom
I trust!” Psalm 91:1-2
Reflection:
What if the struggles of this life seems more than you can bear? What if you
became gravely ill? What if a loved one becomes ill and die? What if your
child(ren) die before you? What if those loved ones died and you were not sure
if they were saved? What if your children strayed away from their Christian
upbringing? What if you go into your place of employment tomorrow and you
are told you no longer have a job? What if you can’t pay your bills? What if
your spouse walks in the home and tells you he/she no longer wants to be
married?
What if you feel like you failed your family and God? What if depression
becomes so unbearable you want to give up? What if? What if? What if? The
list goes on and on and on.
That’s when we PRAY and remember that Jesus sees every tear you have shed
and hears every prayer you have prayed. He knew all the challenges you would
face in this life before you were born. He is continually interceding on your
behalf and he will answer your sincere and earnest prayers according to His will,
His way and His time.
While praying He wants you to remember:
Whenever you are going through, just remember to give it to God, leave it with
him and rest in His presence while you are going through.
Prayer:
Father God, we thank you because we know you are always with us. You are a
promise keeper and a miracle worker. You go before us and you always
answer our prayers. Thank you for being the ultimate answer to our What If. In
Jesus’ name, Amen.
