Day 7 - My Praise Pleasures The Lord in Prospering Me

            Scripture:
“Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine
hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonour that magnify themselves
against me. Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause:
yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure
in the prosperity of his servant. And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness
and of thy praise all the day long” Psalm 35: 26-28 KJV

            Reflection:
There are times when people who were supposed to care about us rise against us,
gossiping, creating confusion, cursing us or causing pain and hurt in our lives.
Even with the full armor of God, this can be such a disappointment. No matter
how good we are and what we do, think, say, or feel these people rejoice in our
shame. It is enough to make us upset.

But, what happens if we choose to sit in anger or upset?

We can miss out on the solution. The same way the LORD said, “Let there be
light” and there was light - we say, “Let them be ashamed.”

Then heaven releases our earthly support, Prayer Warriors, who celebrate us
and champion our cause. Together we sing God’s praise and invite HIS presence.
We release our problems and our enemies. We turn our tongue to praise God’s
righteousness. In turn, God takes pleasure in prospering us.

            Prayer:
Dear God, thank you for reminding us that you take pleasure in prospering us.
When we come to you with the disappointment and confusion of the world, God,
release our earthly support. So we can raise a mighty song of praise in all the
Earth to the heavens, praising you as God. Allow us to stay in your presence.
Inhabit our praise. Prosper us fully - spiritually, mentally, emotionally,
physically, financially - in all our affairs. We Honor You. We Love You. We
Praise You. We Give Thanks, AMEN.
