Day 9 - God Will Deliver Me

            Scripture:
                                                                  2
                                         1
“Surely He will save you from the fowler ’s and from the deadly pestilence . He
will cover you with His feathers; under His wings you will find refuge; His
                                           3
faithfulness will be your shield and rampart . You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor
the plague that destroys at midday A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand
at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your
eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.” Psalm 91: 3-8 NIV

            Reflection:
Right now, you may be in the middle of a battle. From where you stand, you can
see the army and the hunter. You know for sure that the hunter is on the prowl.
It is WILD! This battle has no start or end time because there is terror at night
            and destruction in the day.

What is your battle right now? Do you see it? Yet, even as you watch the battle
you have nothing to fear. God will deliver you. You may not be removed from
the warfare but right in the middle of it you will find protection. You will be
shielded and surrounded by a protective barrier. So stand. Be not afraid.

Watch as ten thousand enemies fall at your side. Imagine your own battle. Notice
the feeling rising in your belly when the numbers increase against you.
Remember that they will never touch you. Stand in the protection of God and
watch God punish them--on your behalf.

            Prayer:
Dear God, thank you for delivering us. Thank you for covering us in the middle
of the battlefield. Thank you for being our protection against tens of thousands
rising against us. Thank you for being a rampart. Thank you for being a shield. I
trust you even as the numbers of wicked rise against me. I trust you. I stand under
your covering, knowing that You will deliver me. I praise you and give you
            thanks, AMEN.
